Up the creek without a paddle
Winter in the Ceres Mountains is really, really cold! Our family ventured there in the middle of winter in the hope of finding snow. The only snow was on the top of the mountains leaving us freezing cold down at the bottom. The children decided to take the little paddle boat out onto the lake. My son (the clown) helped his sister and cousins into the boat and then decided to steal the oars and push them out into the middle! Perfect photo opportunity! They took ages trying to paddle back with their hands almost frozen. I used the Kaisercraft Devonshire Collection of papers which perfectly captured the hues of our winters day. I also used Kaisercraft rub-ons from the Life's Moments and Flourish Corner packs. Flowers from Prima and other bits and bobs from Enmarc and Fabscraps.
