Hello all!

Wow! This is quite daunting! I am what one would call "challenged" when it comes to computers. :o)

I decided to start this blog to share with you, my passion for crafts of all kinds. I started crafting many years ago, but when I was introduced to scrapbooking I found my true passion!

I was into all sorts of crafts and really kicked my heals in when scrapbooking first became available in South Africa. I jut could not see myself taking on another craft. Not because I thought I would not love it, but because I would have to move my husband and children out of the house to accommodate more crafting materials!

My friend Gail, begged me to attend a class with her, but to no avail. She kept telling me I would love scrapbooking (which I did not doubt). Clever (crafty) friend that Gail was, she asked me to accompany her on a shopping trip in our neighbouring town and just "happened" to stop in at the lady who sold scrapbooking materials from her home. Seeing all the pretty papers and stickers, (that was all that was available in South Africa back then) I was hooked! I had never done a class, but left the scrapbooking lady?" with R1000.00 worth of pretty papers tucked under my arm!

Scrapbooking had a very slow start and I was one of the fledglings who scrounged around for supplies when there was not much available. We got a group together in our little town and soon everyone was hooked. Because we were in a tiny town "out in the sticks" I started traveling to the major cities to source materials to feed my passion. Soon I was purchasing stock for everyone and that is how my business started.

I have been running my craft shop since 2002 and still, scrapbooking is the craft that consumes me! I hope that you will enjoy sharing my passion with me!
